The VHP Canada team is proud to stand with Bangladesh Hindu groups to bring attention to the atrocities faced by Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. We thank @MelissaLantsman, @ShuvMajumdar, @AryaCanada, @BradRedekopp, and other courageous MPs for demanding accountability from the Bangladesh government in the face of this urgent crisis. The numbers are staggering: over 12,000 Hindus and minorities massacred, and hundreds of women brutally raped. This isn’t just a statistic—it’s an ongoing tragedy to countless lives. More than 1,000 of us gathered at Parliament Hill to plead with the Canadian government to grant refugee or residency visas to 50,000 families fleeing this persecution. We urge Canada to respond with the same urgency and compassion shown to Ukrainians, Palestinians, and Syrians. It’s time to act and protect the innocent lives of Bangladesh’s minorities. Let’s be their voice before it’s too late.
