A Call for Urgent Action

The rally seeks to bring global attention to the escalating violence and systematic persecution of Bangladesh’s Hindus, Christians, and Buddhists at the hands of extremist forces like Jamaat-e-Islami. Rally attendees commend President Trump for his strong stance against global terrorism and urge both Trump and Modi to take concrete steps to halt the atrocities in Bangladesh.

Protest Against Hindu Genocide

Furthermore, rally attendees will call on President Trump to recognize the U.S.’s moral responsibility in addressing the crisis, especially in light of recent revelations that USAID played a key role in orchestrating regime change in Bangladesh under the previous administration. This intervention has directly contributed to widespread human rights violations, severe oppression of minorities—particularly Hindus—and large-scale violence, with over 2,000 documented attacks across the country.

Key Demands

Rally participants call for immediate intervention to end religious cleansing and protect vulnerable communities. Their demands include:

✅ Immediate release of Mahatma Chinmoy Das, a peaceful minority rights advocate unjustly imprisoned.

✅ Creation of a protected international safe zone in Bangladesh to prevent genocide against Hindus, Christians, and Buddhists.

✅ Strong U.S.-India diplomatic pressure on the Bangladeshi government to halt ongoing atrocities and ensure minority rights.

✅ Formal recognition of the 1971 Bangladesh genocide and accountability for crimes against humanity—past and present.

Preventing the Expansion of Terrorism

Rally attendees will emphasize that Jamaat-e-Islami in Bangladesh follows the same extremist ideology as Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and the Muslim Brotherhood. They will urge the U.S. and India to prevent Bangladesh from becoming a hub for global terrorism, which could pose a long-term security threat to both nations and to the world.

“President Trump’s strong actions against Hamas have restored confidence in American leadership. We now urge him to take a firm stance against Jamaat-e-Islami and its terror network in Bangladesh. Allowing extremism to fester in the Indian Ocean region would be a critical mistake,” said Surjit Chaudhary, one of the rally’s organizers.

“The situation in Bangladesh is more than a humanitarian crisis—it is a direct threat to U.S. and global security. If ignored, Bangladesh risks becoming another Afghanistan, fueling terrorist recruitment and training. Strong American leadership is needed now,” added Pankaj Mehta, a human rights activist co-organizing the rally.
