40 Years Since the Kanishka Bombing

Event Overview:
On June 23, 1985, Air India Flight 182 was destroyed mid-air by a bomb planted by the Khalistan terror group Babbar Khalsa, resulting in the tragic loss of 329 innocent lives, including 268 Canadian citizens. A second bomb intended for another Air India flight detonated prematurely at Narita Airport in Japan, killing two baggage handlers. This event will reflect on the enduring global impact of terrorism, honor those whose lives were lost, and recommit to the pursuit of peace and justice.
